Hmm, interesting short film. Unfortunately, my favorite part of it may have been the title. The acting is a little goofy and the production is low, but the setting is beautiful. I must have missed something, though, because I’m not entirely sure I understood what happened when all was said and done. There were a lot of pieces revealed, and so one could put together a version of the past events, but I’m not sure I like what I came up with, or that it actually resolved the story. The feeling from the movie was about the same I got from the title: pretty, poetic, but not necessarily meaningful. At 22 minutes, this is a low risk endeavor, and I really appreciate the spirit and style. I look forward to seeing more from Sean Hogan!
