This was a really fucked up movie. It was super gross. I tend to stay away from movies in which a hospital is the setting because you know there will be some fucked up surgical scenes. It was kind of an interesting story of cults, and regrets, and life after death. But I’d be lying if I said that I liked it. I’m just not into the squirmier side of horror: body horror, torture horror, etc. And I’m suuuuuper critical of sexual violence in horror - which, luckily, this film didn’t broach. This movie also just kind of lost the thread with me. It was a little Hellraiser-esque, but not as much…I don’t know, fun? Maybe I didn’t really understand it. But anyway, it’s a well made movie with a decent plot, good acting, a spooky setting, and pretty fearsome bad guys. It wasn’t my cup of tea, but it’s a good movie, and you might like it.
